For the Spice Dry Rub

The seasoning blend for these country-style beef ribs includes the following:

Onion powder: To give the meat a unique savory taste with a subtle sweetness.

Chili powder: Adds a kick of heat to the meat.

Smoked paprika: Not only provides a smoky flavor, but also a touch of heat.

To make the spice rub, mix all the dry spices in a bowl and set it aside.

Rub olive oil onto the beef ribs.

Coat the beef pieces with the spice mix, ensuring that every inch is covered.

Place the beef ribs in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate them for a minimum of 2 hours or up to 12 hours.

Remove the ribs from the fridge and let them reach room temperature.

Prepare a baking tray with aluminum foil and place the beef ribs in it. Cover with another layer of foil.

Put the tray in the preheated oven at 250°F for about 3 hours. After the timer goes off, take the beef ribs out, place them on a different baking tray, and brush them generously with BBQ sauce.
